I love looking at old photos of my hometown. And, I love photography. So I decided to combine them in an ongoing project that I'm calling the "Past & Present Project" for Greene County, PA starting with Waynesburg.

Each year I put together a list of places to eat around Greene County. Hard to believe but there are over 60 locations on this list to grab a bite! A few of them are takeout only but most of them have seating for you and your friends. Before driving outside the county, try a few of these places out and see what you've been missing!

My wife set up trip to NYC! She knew I always wanted to go but would mostly likely take the time off to do it. I'm so glad she did.

My Wife an I are both wedding and portrait photographers. So who takes our photos? We just do it ourselves. I personally love the challenge of getting all the gear to work remotely while still pulling off some decent images. We usually end up wanting to kill each other at some point but the end result is always worth it.
As a kid I would often ride my bike 4-5 miles from Crucible, PA to get to Pumpkin Run Park in Rices Landing, PA. I finally went back with a backpack full of gear to take some photos of the creek I use to play in that passes through. The park itself is currently closed to motorized vehicles and is under construction but I had no problem walking along the creek.
I am very excited about my latest project, www.GreeneCountyPhotos.com. A collection of photos I have taken around Greene County over the last 10 years. There are also options for purchasing prints, frames, and photo canvas wraps. Perfect for holiday gifts or for use as decorations in your home or office.

My wife and I made it a point to visit Hot Rod's for dinner at least once a month for Steaks. She would get a fillet and I would get the sirloin. I am also lucky enough that my office is within the same block so we would go at least twice a week for lunch. The prime rib special is pretty famous around here. Needless to say a big part of my week has been missing since the fire that swept through my favorite restaurant. By Ben McMillen
My daughter Hanna had a High School Band Parade in Kingwood WV. Ended up with just a tad bit of rain. Gave me a chance to try our my new travel camera, the Pentax KP. Enjoy the images! By Ben McMillen
I have many childhood memories of Ryerson State Park located in Wind Ridge, PA. Most of them revolve around the now permantly drained lake. Fishing, paddle boats, picnics, and a few trips to the public pool were yearly events for my family. By Ben McMillen
I've been considering this trail which snakes between Greene & Washington Counties in Pennselvania for a couple years. Located new West Finely, PA in the PA State Game Lands 302 and for the most part follows along Wheeling Creek. Along the way you pass two old Iron bridges which were pretty interesting. I did some research and apparently they are both over 100 years od. I've really been enjoying Kayaking this season on our local Creeks. Here are some photos of my wife Kailee's first trip on Dunkard Creek.
Dear Danni,
You’re about to embark on a new and exciting journey. High School was just the beginning. I can still remember just how crazy graduation day felt for me. Part of me was sad. Part of me was ready to take on the world and kick its ass. But a huge part of me was scared. In a crazy, exciting, no idea what’s next kinda way. I was no longer a kid. Officially an adult. Ready to do adult stuff and I had no idea what that meant. I picked up a new hobby. Kayaking!
I have kayaked many times in my life but never owned my own kayak. After finding out that Greene County has several Kayak Launches installed along Tenmile Creek I decided to go out and buy my very own boat. Looks like a big banana. See photo above. Night Shots In PittsburghMy daughter Danni went to a concert at Stage AE so I tagged along. Not to hear an artist I've never heard of but to walk around and explore views from the North Shore. I met up with my buddy Ed Jenkins and here are a few shots we came up with. (Click the read more button to see)
