Exploring Pumpkin Run

As a kid I would often ride my bike 4-5 miles from Crucible, PA to get to Pumpkin Run Park in Rices Landing, PA. I finally went back with a backpack full of gear to take some photos of the creek I use to play in that passes through. The park itself is  currently closed to motorized vehicles and is under construction but I had no problem walking along the creek.

The name of the creek is also "Pumpkin Run." I hiked about a mile up the waterway without seeing a single pumpkin but what I did find were some amazing views and mini waterfalls. Just what I was hoping for.
