Why in the world would anyone backpack and camp alone in the middle of winter? Well? I asked all my friends and they said no. So, I went anyway. 

There are a few places that I love visiting several times a year. Ohiopyle, PA is one of those places. My favorite seasons to visit are Fall & Winter. On this day the temperature reached -4 degrees! So I bundled up, packed up my gear and did my best not to freeze to death. Enjoy!

Nineteen years ago when I started down my path into photography one of my favorite places to go was Coopers Rock, WV. I have been waiting for a snowy day to capture a few Ideas I had. So I packed up my gear and prepared for the elements.

I've been considering this trail which snakes between Greene & Washington Counties in Pennselvania for a couple years. Located new West Finely, PA in the PA State Game Lands 302 and for the most part follows along Wheeling Creek. Along the way you pass two old Iron bridges which were pretty interesting. I did some research and apparently they are both over 100 years od. ​
