By no means am I a professional landscape photographer. But, I'm trying! This morning I saw the forecast for some fog and I knew just the location I wanted to capture. The PA State Game Lands in Greene County. I don't think most people understand how the time of day and quality of light affect a good landscape photograph. This takes a massive amount of patience. Patience is a quality I was NOT born with. It's been a real struggle. One area that has really helped me is dialing in my gear choices. I love multi-day camping & backpacking. With that background I know that the lighter my camping load, the more enjoyable the trip. I have found the same to be true for landscape photography. Simplifying my gear has allowed me to jump any time the conditions are right. As of this morning, I think I finally have a camera setup that is light and fast for the images I want to create while still enjoying my hike. This morning I checked the weather and it was go time. So I grabbed my gear for one the best Greene County photo trips I've taken this year. Enjoy the results! These photos and more can be purchased at www.GreeneCountyPhotos.com
